Laurie Albin has had a successful people and pet portraits business going for over thirty years. She is recognized as a prolific artist in multiple mediums, watercolor in particular, and has participated in numerous one woman shows over the last twenty-five years. She is a Signature Kansas Watercolor Society Member.
Presently, Laurie is also teaching, grades 7-12 in Hill City, Kansas, and working in her home studio in WaKeeney, Kansas. She and her husband have three grown children, three son-in-laws, two grandchildren (more on the way!), and one loving maltese puppy. This fall her work can be viewed firsthand in a one artist showing at the Dane Hansen Museum in Logan, Kansas.
